Hiking – Your Specialist for Unique Mountain Experiences
As your hiking experts in the Rauris Valley, we invite you to explore the most beautiful and hidden corners of the region with us. Our experienced hiking guides, Ina & Christian, accompany our guests exclusively, ensuring unforgettable adventures in the mountains.
From Monday to Friday, you can look forward to 8–10 guided hikes each week, each with a different theme. Every day, you can choose between an easier and a more challenging tour, making it suitable for every fitness level. A special highlight is our weekly summit victory, where you’ll stand on top at least once!
Even in winter, a full hiking program awaits you – discover the snowy landscape on guided tours and rent snowshoes directly at the hotel. Experience the mountains at their finest – with us at the Rauriserhof!
Tennis – Stay Active All Year Round
Right next to the hotel, you’ll find our modern tennis facilities with two indoor and three outdoor courts. Whether training or a casual match, our professional tennis coach is there to assist you. Improve your game whenever you like!

At the same time, we share with our guests how valuable and sensitive the nature around us is – especially during our guided hikes. In both summer and winter, our hiking guides accompany guests through this unique landscape.

Arriving by public transport?
As our guest, you can use all public transport throughout the entire province of Salzburg free of charge with the new Guest Mobility Ticket.
We can send your mobility ticket to you digitally on the day of arrival. Please let us know in advance if you would like to use it for your journey.

We are also happy to offer a pick-up service from Taxenbach train station (available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). We charge a flat rate of €25 per trip. Please reserve your pick-up at least one day before arrival.
