Train Indoors

Perform Outdoors

The Rauris Valley starts right outside our door—and the strength you build in the gym pays off across the trails of Hohe Tauern National Park.

Hiking & Mountaineering: Strong quadriceps and a locked-in core keep you sure-footed heading toward Kolm Saigurn or through the Krumltal. Targeted work on the leg stations directly prepares your lower body for the heavy eccentric load of steep mountain descents.

Tennis: Before walking onto our outdoor clay courts or into the indoor tennis hall, warm up your shoulders and rotator cuffs on the Queenax rig—making your serve feel fluid from the very first point.

Rainy Days: When low hanging clouds roll in, simply shift your session inside. Our treadmills, bikes, and AMT ensure zero interruptions to your routine, while the panoramic views remain just as captivating in the mountain mist.

Post-Workout Recovery at BergSpa

Pools & Swimming: Swim laps in our indoor BergPanorama pool at 30 °C, then unwind in the whirlpool. The heated outdoor pool sits at 28–30 °C in summer and 32 °C in winter—ideal for active recovery while taking in the alpine surroundings.

Saunas & Heat Therapy: Traditional rock sauna with an outdoor cool-down zone, 60 °C bio-sauna, steam bath, and a PhysioTherm infrared cabin. The gentle penetrating heat of the infrared cabin is especially effective for easing muscle tension after a heavy training session.

Targeted Massages: Our BergSpa therapists offer dedicated treatments for athletes, including our signature “Sport Vital” deep tissue massage and targeted BellaBambi cupping therapy (BeinFit and RückenFit) to release fascial stiffness in the back and legs.
